The book 'God Passes By' is considered as one of the apex books of The Bahai Faith. Written by the Guardian of the Faith, Shoghi Affandi, (grandson of Abdul Baha and great grandson of Bahaullah), the book serves as a reliable historical narrative for the Bahais. It also reflects the Bahai beliefs and principles in its purest forms.

It should be noted that even a single quotation from this book cannot be refuted by any Bahai worth his salt.

However this very book can serve as a death-knell for the Bahais, if only a proper analytical study of it be carried out. By the grace of Allah, a small effort has been made in the following pages.

The main areas of study of this book are:

  • The position of Bab.
  • The position of Bahaullah,
  • The position of The Companions,
  • The position of Abdul Baha,
  • The position of Mirza Yayha Noori - Subhe Azal,
  • The writings of Bab, Baha and the companions.
  • The annulment of Islam at the hands of Bab, and Baha.
  • The errors in this book
  • The role of foreign powers in the origin and growth of this Faith.

The Bahais or their leaders themselves are not very clear of their own positions. At some places their positions are exaggerated to the level of Divinity, while at the other places they consider themselves to be meeker than the meekest creation. This shall be evident from their quotes.
