The followers of Universal House of Guardianship believe in Mirza Ali Mohammed Shirazi (The Bab), Mirza Husain Ali Noori (Baha’u’llah) Abbas Affendi (Abdu'l-Bahá) and Shoghi Affendi.

They believe, according to the teachings of Baha’u’llah and Abdu'l-Bahá, the Universal House of Justice should have a head in form of an infallible Guardian. As Bahá'u'lláh has mentioned that in his dispensation there will be 24 Guardians namely Bab along with his eighteen Hurufe Haiye (Letters of Living) makes nineteen. The names of remaining five are not mentioned, but they will be coming in future.

All these 24 Guardians are infallible and as per teaching of Bah’u’llah they are the Salateen-e-Alame Ilahi. (Rulers of the World of God)

As Shoghi has not appointed any successor it means the followers of Baha’u’llah should wait for the coming of these 5 Elders.
